About the brand

Kabo established its roots back in 2019 and was founded by twin brothers Vino and Vijay Jeyapalan. Inspiration for the brand came from their beloved Chow Chow, Kabo. The brothers adopted Kabo back in 2015 and instantly fell in love with her. Unfortunately only a short 3 years later, Kabo would inevitably pass away from stomach cancer.

After some soul search and research, the Jeyapalan brothers came to the conclusion that a possible reason for Kabo’s untimely passing may have been connected to the food that she was eating. Vino Jeyapalan states, “It posed the question, why are our dog’s fed processed food filled with additives instead of the fresh, nutritious food we feed ourselves?”. Thus, the inspiration behind the Kabo food brand was born. Since its launch, Kabo has been producing fresh cooked pet food and ever fresh kibble to help other pet parents create healthy routines and provide quality, nutritious meals.
