Our Mousto Balsamic Vinegars use a secret family spice recipe passed down for generations to create a mouth-watering sweet and tangy umami flavour that will transform your salads, vegetables, meats and seafood dishes into culinary works of art.
Instead of cane sugar, which conventional balsamic vinegar usually uses, our Mousto Balsamic is enhanced with Petimezi – an ancient recipe for grape molasses, which gives our vinegar a rich, fruity sweetness. Then, it’s aged in oak barrels for six years to further enrich its flavor.
Our Mousto is certified organic, so like all of our products, we never use pesticides or chemicals to make it. It’s also free from preservatives, additives and dyes, so each batch may have variations in consistency.
